PreSeason so soon... HOF Game on Monday...
I am guessing that it's televised somewhere. Anybody know who is carrying it? I can't seem to find it anywhere. (I honestly haven't done a lot of research either.)

The Hall of Fame game is always nationally televised, as well as all the ceremonies. I think one more of the preseason Redskin games is national, also, and the rest will be on the NFL network - delayed.

I agree, Canes. But if you can get Sunday Ticket, then you get the NFL network, so all games are available (even if late).

the nfl network is available on satelite anyways, without sunday ticket. its a normal channel. I watch it all the time. I think they are tryign to compete with espn and others by having their own news program.

I have a feeling that they are grooming it for when DirecTV loses the rights to NFL exclusivity. The NFL Network will become the only source for Pro Football and it's already on cable as well as SAT.
I'm guessing at $10 per game by that time on a PPV basis or a better deal for the full season. |

no way, people would hate that. It is cheaper then direct tv, which I dont think it will be, and it only lets you see one game. The beauty of nfl sunday ticket is the ability to watch all the games. And people shouldnt have to pay to see the local game. Man, imagine if the superbowl was on pay per view, plenty of peopel would do it, but that would suck.

They'd lose too much in the way of advertising money if it were on PPV. Even Cable they'd be reluctant to concede the Super Bowl to. Maybe regular season, but playoffs/super bowl = huge advertising revenue!
btw: anytime you hear Hail to the Redskins on DC 101 call in and get 2 tickets to the HOF game. 5 failed attempts =/ |
