Thank you to fans from around the league

The support from fans around the league has been really great and touching.

I just wanted to say thanks on behalf of this site and Redskins fans everywhere.

Agreed. I've seen many random fans of teams come here to send their condolences. (Except for the Eagles.. But we won't go there)

I'm with Matty and everyone else in saying thanks for those who cared enough to join the site just to post on ST.

I, too thank people for the kind words. I am very suprised on how deep a chord this has struck around the DC area and the skins fanbase. I can't believe my own sorrow I feel...

On that note, has any one else heard if dallas is still trying to wear the 21 stickers tomorrow? If they decide to do that and they act alone, I think it would be awesome when we play them at home this year for someone to start a chant "Thank You, Dallas!" instead of the traditional "We Want Dallas!"

its a big if, but it would be a classy gesture, and honestly I'd love to see it.

I really don't know what to say except I love the Redskins, and ST was a true Redskin. I miss LeVar Arrington, but I thought at least I would always have Number 21.

Sean Taylor was a first-class playmaker, and I'll alway remember the way he recovered the blocked field goal against Dallas and won a game for the Redskins when all seemed lost.

I know Roy Williams has said he wants to wear a #21 sticker all year. I thought I heard that all teams were going to wear one this week.

Our pleasure Mattyk.

I'm glad I chose a great community to express my condolences to. You guys have a heck of a site here. Once again those of us with the Steelers Nation welcome you to our forums for consolation. You have lost a great player, and above all, Citizen and Father. He will be missed by all of us in the NFL community.

I heard on ESPN and on NFL Network today that the commish has directed ALL teams in the league to place #21 stickers on thier helments.

When I told my dad yesterday about how the Cowboys board had switched to burgundy and gold he was really moved, as was I. It's been amazing how this story has touched so many people in so many ways, even those who didn't follow Sean like us, and I'm sure Sean would appreciate the way his tragic death has made so many of us football fans appreciate our own lives and our fellow human beings a whole lot more.

I hadn't heard that the Cowboys board changed their colors to Burgundy and Gold. Wow. Now that's awesome. Hats off to them for a great sentiment.

I've gotta say, all of my friends and family have been great. They all know how much I love the Skins, and especially Sean, my favorite player. Even people who don't follow a lick of football have text messaged or emailed me to see how I'm holding up and to let me know they're praying for Sean's family and the Redskins. It really does feel like we've lost a family member. God Bless Sean.
