craigslist
not sure where this belongs, but anyone with any insight on buying tickets from craigslist? when i was in Tampa, there was some skins fans that had bought their tickets off of craigslist. all i really need to know is if it is trust worthy, because some of the pricing is pretty good. thanks for the help

Re: craigslist
Your buying from the individual... so use caution... pick up the tickets or use paypal with credit card.... there is no feedback system with that...
With all of that said, I sold my wife's car on Craiglist and had great success with it.

Re: craigslist
i've done it a bunch..and never gotten burned...people seem pretty honest, but like everything else, be cautious.
I usually email the people with an offer, then arrange a mutually agreeable spot to meet where I can check out the tickets before buying...never had a problem

Re: craigslist
I've never bought tickets on CraigsList, but I've bought and sold furniture on there. I'd probably want to make sure I could pick up the tickets in person and maybe meet at a public place (McDonalds etc.), or at the very least bring someone with you and let someone know where you're going. I've never had anything bad happen, but I'd just use a good amount of caution. The last time I went to pick up a piece of furniture I ended up in literally the middle of no where, alone, and if someone wanted to rob me or something they probably could have.

Re: craigslist
I have sold several tickets on Craigs list when they did not sell here or on ticket stub. I advertised on the local site so we meet and did the deal. You can get some really good deals and I should know because i sold some tics very cheap. Tomorrow you can really find some tics for very very cheap. I'm almost thinking of giving up my season tickets and just buying from craigslist. I saw 2 tickets a couple of weeks ago for some lower level 45 yardline like row 20 both for $150 and these types of deals pop up all the time.
