PLAYOFFS!? (not Mora, yet)
Um, so if ATL wins tonight and we win out we get #6 seed in playoffs?
We would own AZ, MINN and DET in tie breakers. Is it that easy? Beat NYG, MINN and DAL? That's it?

Re: PLAYOFFS!? (not Mora, yet)
I still see us going 7-9 or 8-8 and missing by a game or two. I don't trust Collins despite his tremendous play and I think all three remaining teams will present problems for our defense.

But if we win we're in right? Check the math!

Yeah, people are getting their hopes up awful high based on one half of play.

Re: PLAYOFFS!? (not Mora, yet)
I know the schedule looks difficult, but by kickoff time this Sunday night, the Giants will likely have clinched the 5th spot. The Cowboys, meanwhile, will likely have clinched home field advantage when we play them on the last game of the season. This means that two of the three tough opponents we have coming up won't be feeling too pressured when we play them. I know, I know, they're both tough teams that will not want to mail it in against a rival division opponent. But if you're going to be playing a critical playoff-implicating game, better to not be playing against a team with its back against a wall. It's to our advantage.

Re: PLAYOFFS!? (not Mora, yet)
Maybe one whining about Gibbs 2.0? Or maybe one where we randomly select an NFL player and whine about him? Or one about firing player X and replacing him with player Y?
I swear sometimes I think we've got Thread Templates that people just pull out of a hat.

Re: PLAYOFFS!? (not Mora, yet)
I think it's clear, if we win out, we are going to the playoffs almost for sure. We have 3 tough games remaining but hey, it's still possible though. Keep up faith and trust Collins and our D.

Re: PLAYOFFS!? (not Mora, yet)
Think of how many close games we shouldn't have lost but found a way to...
Anyway the Saints just lost Bush for the year and they play 3 teams with playoff hopes (Arizona, Chicago, and Philly). I think its very likely that they will lose one of these games.

Re: PLAYOFFS!? (not Mora, yet)
If the saints lose it is slightly possible that we make it in at 8-8 but that would mean a good amount of unlikely stuff would have to happen. Minni is a must win regardless. So we could lose to the giants or the boys.
This NO game is absolutely huge. We need them to lose. I don't want to have to worry about them winning out. We don't control our destiny until they lose. BIG BIG BIG game right here. |
