Who Will The Redskins Sign?

The Redskins must sign a replacement for McIntosh and a practice Squad player. I hope they sign Spencer Havner to the roster and Dallas Sartz to the practice squad.

Don't know about Sartz - we drafted him and he didn't show enough to stick on even the practice squad. Drafting H.B. Blades in the 6th round was an absolute steal, and looks huge now for the added depth at LB.

La Canfora mentions the signing of 2 guys to the practice squad...

LB Danny Verdun-Wheeler, a rookie free agent in 2007 and DE Tommy Davis, another free agent from 2007, were added to the practice squad.

If they put Eubanks on ir that leaves one more spot.

HB Blades is going to be a good player. However I wouldn't mind going after Briggs if hes available this offseason. I love it, we could have our cake (Landry) and eat it too (Briggs).

I think I heard that the Bears plan on re-signing Briggs, which could leave them without enough money to keep Tommie Harris. While I don't think Harris will come here, it's still an intriguing possibility

That would be a great way to fill our d-line and keep us from using a draft pick. I'd be all for it. Can we afford it though?
