Poor Weather Sunday, importance of an early lead

Hi All,

The "weather factor" looks like it will rear its ugly head late Sunday afternoon, or just in time for the 2nd half of the BIGGEST RIVALRY GAME EVER. From my view (which could be club level if I wanted but I'm a gamer and will stay parked in lower level), light rain will start at the stadium around halftime and progressively get heavier throughout the 2nd half. This should make for a sloppy field. That's why I'm thinking we need an early lead or a close-enough deficit after one half of play to seal a victory. CP and the squad have recently proven they are prepared for a slow-it-down, ball-control strategy, and the Brad Johnson-led 'Boys in the 2nd half may be severely limited in their passing attack. That's why it just may be hugely important to yield little to no points to the first-stringers through the first 30 minutes.
