Bye Bye Cam Cameron
Parcells obviously didn't like what he saw this season and doesn't wanna risk seeing it again next season.

Re: Bye Bye Cam Cameron
Did I also see on the ESPN Sports Ticker that Rickey Williams was extended for 08?

Re: Bye Bye Cam Cameron
Not terribly surprising. 1-15 is inexcusable, even for a first year HC.

Re: Bye Bye Cam Cameron
I still like the guy, hopefully he'll get another chance as coach.

As for Cameron, he might just be better suited to be an OC. Lots of places he could go (Baltimore, KC, San Francisco). As for the Dolphins looks like they may be poaching the Cowboys staff.

Re: Bye Bye Cam Cameron
Tony Sparano is an option and if they hire him they might bring in several other members of that Cowboys staff, including former Redskin Todd Bowles

Re: Bye Bye Cam Cameron
I would bet that Parcell's will bring in either Fox or Carthon and then he was very smart in retaining Ricky Williams as a power back that he or any of the coaches he might bring in will need to run a power offense.
I think he turns that franchise around and makes them a winner once again.

Re: Bye Bye Cam Cameron
I wouldn't get it too twisted. From what I've read and heard from shows, people in Miami (players, front office, etc) liked Cam and thought he was doing a great job seeing the circumstances. This team made our injury report look like nothing. I believe this is more Parcells getting his guy in more than a lack on Cam's part. 1-15 is terrible, but I have trouble blaming that all on a first year coach.

Re: Bye Bye Cam Cameron
lol...I was just thinking the same thing...in that opening game against the Redskins I thought for sure that Dan Dierdorf was going to climb out of the booth, run down to the sidelines, and start sucking him off he was riding Cam's jock so much...
