Let's Play Who Should Be the Starter?

Lets play who should be the starter. First question is, H-Back/TE? Do we go with a young solid player in Chris Cooley or go with the experience? 2nd question is, MLB, I like Mike Barrow, but I feel Kevin Mitchell has never gotten a true shot with us, and when he is in he is a force. Just a couple of questions. Fell free to ask your own.

Interesting. You started with one of the toughest decisions and one of the easiest. I hope Cooley makes it to #1, but we're a couple games away from finding out if he can. I don't think the MLB spot is even close. If Barrow is healthy, he will be there at the start of the season. I would have liked Mitchel over Trotter the last 2 years, but not over Barrow.

I would say Rasby mostly because he is a real good blocker and without Jansen we need all we can get and a rookie won't be the answer, like Dockery last year. As for the MLB situation, I was satisfied with Mitchell being the starter when Trotter left (although I do think Trotter is going to have a big year) but I also think Barrow is an upgrade from both of them at least for about two years or so. Anyone else thinking Scott has a shot at beating out Jacobs? I know he was a high pick but Scott has had a great preseason and could be a great cheap pick up for special teams or depth. I hope we at least send him to NFL europe. Also I would like to see my man Nic Clemons get some time!!!

Mike Barrow is a "shoe-in" for the starting MLB position. He has proven year in and year out that he can perform. I think Mike Sellers was penciled in as a starter for the H-back position, but he's been injured. I too want to see Cooley make it as #1. Even though he only caught 2 NFL passes so far, he made them look easy. Cooley also seems deceptively faster than people expected. In my opinion, the most difficult decision is who's going to be our #2 and #3 WR and who will be the #2 RB. I would like to see McCants as our #2 and Taylor as #3...but, Taylor is a question mark. I also like McCaullough as our #2 RB. His performance from last year and this year's pre-season looked impressive.

OK, HBack and TE are 2 different positions in Gibbs Offense. Rasby will be starting at TE and Cooley is listed as a HBack along with Sellers and Kozlowski.

My vote is Cooley - Hback
Rasby - TE
Barrow - MLB

Who do you think will start at Center, I think Raymer is got a edge now.

Center should go to whoever can get the exchange done without a fumble.

I think we're going to see a rotation at the h-back spot with Cooley and Kozlowski both playing significant roles.

Barrow once healthy is definitely the clear cut starter at MLB.

I agree Matty

Who starts at defensive end? Wynn and Upshaw? That's my feeling. I think Daniels comes off the bench and is used at both DT and DE

Daniels was supposed to have looked good. im thinkin Wynn and Daniels will be the starter, but Upshaw will play a lot because he has a high motor. Wynn is a blue collar player, thats why i give him the start. Daniels is strong, and has put up big sack numbers.

I think it's Daniels starting with Wynn coming off the bench on 3rd downs, but with Williams who knows, I expect we'll see alot of rotating up front.
