I agree. He was in every play. He's definitely capable of getting rookie of the year.

yep, tru dat. Meanwhile, in Denver, LOL - former skins shut-down CB Champ Bailey, playing off his man as he usually does, gave up a long 60+ yard pass play from back up QB Senecca Wallace to Koren Robinson (unfortunately, not a TD)

Champ is not a corner in the mold of the great corner's of the past, he may be one of the best in the league right now, but IMO he is not a great corner, good, not great.

look at whats happening here. more validation for us picking taylor. Winslow's causing trouble, runnin his mouth, not makin plays, while taylor has caused atleast one turnover in each game i believe, at least 3 in 3 games

i think he's at 8 tackles, 3 ints, 2 FF, 1 TD in limited playing time over 3 games...
you really can't argue with those kind of results...

It has gotten very popular to call him a shutdown corner, and one of the best cover backs in the NFL. But that is NOT the way he played throughout last year. Was beaten for very many passes. He is greatly overrated. Denver got a MAJOR screwing in this deal. And, as I have been saying since the deal was announced, it will be a LAUGHER by mid-season. (Except in Denver, where they will be crying at the loss of Portis)

champ is good, every corner gets beat a bunch, especially when the d-line stinks (hmm...), and they needed a corner (champ is way better than whoever they had), and they still have some decent RBs there, both teams ended up fine (i believe), but i'd take portis for my team any day.

If a QB has THAT long to throw the ball, he'll find someone open, and it might be Champ's guy. Champ was a great player and helped our defense, however with Springs and Taylor back there we won't miss him. Let's go portis!

o.k., off the topic for one second. how do I get the cool pics below the member name on the posts?

Champ will help the broncs alot but portis will help are team alot more. ya see, i think every body is comparing apples to oranges. if we traded champ for another corner then we can compare the two players. in this case all we can do is talk about which team will benifit more from that particular player. considering the skin's situation, portis will help us win more games than champ will help the broncs win.
