My AWESOME day at Training Camp
I hope this doesn't bore the hell out of you guys, but I'm so excited after being at camp that I had to share. First, it was a raining, humid morning..to say the least, but I got there before the gates were open and was right on the rail at the start of practice. Some of the pics below have a "haze" to them.. my lens kept fogging. First I want to say how blessed I feel that my son was able to get so many autographs.. what a great bunch of players we have. I was almost in tears, they were soooo generous. OH, and I also have shots of the new Jason Taylor below. Feel free to view at your leisure.
Randy Thomas (not Sellers) was the second one out to the field I believe, Carter was first: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...l/100_0680.jpg Bugel talking to some of the O line: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...l/100_0682.jpg Zorn and Collins coming out for practice together: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...l/100_0683.jpg Portis, and his yellow shoes: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...l/100_0691.jpg Cooley at the end of a great catch: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...l/100_0724.jpg Landry (my son's head in the way): http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...drywthMarc.jpg Rogers and V Fox (Fox is in SHAPE!) http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...rsandFox-1.jpg Moss lined up (he was awesome today by the way!) http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...l/100_0717.jpg After practice Moss signed for such a long time. He was directly in front of me for most of it.. like 10mins.. I could have kissed him he was so close. People were pushing me into the railing but the wonderful man signed every thing I had: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...ignigtowl2.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...ngmyjersey.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...igningtowl.jpg He signed my ST towel from the memorial game last year, as well as Jansen and Landry: Here's the towl: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...ndryJansen.jpg And he signed my son's hat, as well as these other players (I still can't believe it): Cooley Landry Marcus Washington Todd Collins John Jansen Vernon Fox and the rookie QB....Colt Brennan Here is the hat: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...RedskinCap.jpg Here's Jason Taylor: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...sonTaylor2.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...asonTaylor.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...l/100_0719.jpg Smoot: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...l/100_0722.jpg Marcus Washington signing (he was the best of them all. He signed, and signed, and signed.. talked, took pics.. he was awesome!) http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...ashington2.jpg The Zshade: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...l/100_0673.jpg I have many more pics of them playing, but too tired to post them. I hope you enjoy what I have posted. I still can't believe it! Last edited by hesscl34; 07-24-2008 at 01:00 PM. |

Re: My AWESOME day at Training Camp
I did exactly what you guys told me to do. I went in and went down to the left rail, and stayed there. That's where all the players come to sign first. I had Moss' jersey hanging over the rail yelling his name and he came straight over to me.

Good work, Hessy.
I can't believe I haven't been up there yet. How long did it take you get there? |

Oh, and don't be surprised if you see me on Redskins.com, or Comcast Sportsnet... UGH! When Moss was singing my Tayor towel the press swarmed us and took a ton of pics. I was also standing in front of Moss the entire time the press was shooting him, video and still.. I'm wet, and sticky.. not so pretty that's for sure. But I'm the only redhead with a HUGE smile on her face!! |

Re: My AWESOME day at Training Camp
So awesome and thanks for sharing. JTaylor looks like a man among boys. I knew he was big but he seems really huge to me. Not like Sellers huge but you know. Anyway thanks so much for sharing I haven't been to camp since the last time they were in PA. Looks super fan friendly though.

Hey Hess, what time did you get to camp, and how many people were already there waiting in line for the gates to open when you did? I'm trying to get to camp sometime before Monday and I plan on getting up early so I can either get one of those VIP passes for the lottery tix or I can get a prime spot next to the fence.
