Montgomery Breaks Bone in His Hand

Montgomery Breaks Bone in His Hand - Redskins Insider

The bad news is that, he's a guy we can't afford to lose.

The good news is that, lineman can be just as effective with a cast on their hand as without it, and the injury figures to heal by the regular season anyway.

Yeah Monty is going to be vital to the success of our defense. If he continues his upward development he can be a monster. Seems like this injury is no big deal really.

He should be ready to go by the regular season.

Yeah it's no big deal. It's a small bone and a minor fracture from the sounds of it. It'll be fine in a few weeks. Although it's minor, I'd really like the FRIGGIN INJURIES to stop please.

UPDATE: LB Rian Wallace also broke a bone in his hand. He and Montgomery will both have surgery and be out at least 10 days. Friggin wonderful.

Although I never like injuries, around Redskin Park I'm very used to them. This is very minor.

I would much rather have a minor surgery now vs. during the season when Monty could miss a week or two.

He is a lineman. He would still play if he broke his hand the day before a game. They would just put one of those wrapped up hand clubs on him.

Bubba Tyer really needs to start doing more to strengthen the player's handbones. This is ridiculous.

And no more practice. I'd rather have a bunch of healthy idiots running around then a group of smart guys with pulled hamstrings and broken hands

Re: Montgomery Breaks Bone in His Hand

im not sure how effective a lineman can be without the use of his hands. there is so much pulling and grabbing going on in today's football. but he will be healthy in a couple of weeks
