Chiefs vs. Rams
Anyone else watching this on MNF? Looks like the Chiefs offense hasn't missed a beat.
It's pretty remarkable how good their offense is yet their receivers are so average, if that.

To be honest, I think the Rams are gonna fall of the face of the earth this year and pick anywhere from 7-11 on the draft |

If Boldin and Shipp were healthy the Cardinals maybe, maybe, could have given the Rams a run for second in that division behind Seattle (who will lose to the Skins in the NFC Championship game by the way)
Niners have the cellar locked up Rams look like a 9-7 team

Yeah that's sort of what I meant by "if boldin and shipp were healthy"
By the way, welcome to the board. In spite of your lone star affiliation it's good to have you here. It'll be even better after we rub it in on Sept. 27th!! How did you find us?

I think both teams will have a lot of success on the ground if we dont get our woes @ RDT solved I'll be interested to see how portis performs in the tough NFC East as aoppsed to the creampuff defenses he's faced his first 2 years in the AFC west Im not doubting his talent,,,but our division is a whole different animal these days |

Cowboys are basically going to win and lose ugly this year aren't they? All defense and running for the most part. How long until Drew Henson starts?
I wouldn't be surprised if the Redskins keep most of their play calling relatively simple until that MNF game. Gibbs has too much respect for Parcells to give him any uneccesary advantage As for Portis, I've been wondering lately, could he actually be better than we've seen? I'm just wondering how much of a factor was playing in the high altitude of Mile High (sorry Invesco) on his stamina. Maybe he's capable of a lot more. Just a thought.

Testaverde's best year was in '98 when he threw for 29 TD's, 7 INT's and 3245 yards...Now, I understand this was 6 years but VT has the same coach and sytem back he had when he thrived,,,VT went 12-3 under BP Henson is completing about 3/4 of his passes..his release is Marino like..lightning quick. He's got a rifle for an arm and is very accurate...He's got pocket presense with very good athleticism He'ss be starting by '05 for sure...Im not sure about this year but I'll never underestimate this guy..he's truly special.. He doesnt look like he's missed a beat after 3 years in MLB To get this guy for a 3rd rounder?...Call me a homer, but this turn out to be the best 3rd round pick since the Niners landed a certain guy from NotreDame 25 years ago I think our offense will carry the D for a while believe it or not Currently we have 5 new starters on our D..Wiley, Ellis (moved from LDE to RDE, RCB, SS and RDT. They are going to need time to gel Parcells has mentioned more than a few times in his PC's that "We are just running plays" --not game planning.. The same goes for the Skins I see with JG..and rightly so..no need to tip your hand I think Portis could be better, but I dont think his #'s will be as inflated as they were while in Denver |
