New look for Redskins.com
What do you guys think of the new look? I like the fact that the video size is bigger. Now if they could just get a micro phone on the reporters. Sometimes its hard to hear the questions.

Re: New look for Redskins.com
You know, I'm not really sure I like it or not. I figure I'll get used to it eventually because Redskins.com is my homepage, but I liked the old one better. I never watched the video on Redskins.com because my computer is slow enough and whenever I watch their video it takes an extremely long time to buffer, and I liked the old news format better but there's nothing wrong with this one either.
So we'll see. In the end I'll probably get used to it so it's not that big of a deal.

Re: New look for Redskins.com
They added a mobile site too, which I am thankful for, the old site was awful for my phone. Hopefully the content will improve on it, but I can get to the links clearly now, so I am happy.

Re: New look for Redskins.com
Way way way too much going on. The old look and feel was simpler. This one looks like a car crash. I do like the middle video interface a little more but I agree with That Guy about the dopey scroll thing.
If their goal was to get a link to every single page on the website on the front page then I think they got close. But I don't think that is a good idea in general. |

Re: New look for Redskins.com
The redskins.com home page is definitely way too busy. Some people don't understand the value of white space I guess.

Re: New look for Redskins.com
the content got smaller and the ads got bigger...its like the same page with smaller text and bigger ads..with a helmet on the side.

Re: New look for Redskins.com
The look is fresher, and since I use a 22 inch widescreen monitor, there is too much whitespace...but overall I think it looks nicer than the old site. Since I don't use Redskins.com much, video and other content isn't a big deal to me.
However, as a web designer/developer, I hate when a website is not centered in the browser window...it's not that difficult to set up the CSS so that the entire site is centered. Quote:

Re: New look for Redskins.com
I'd say centering is over-rated personally.

Re: New look for Redskins.com
It still has some glitches but I like it. I especially like the new video player.
