Good Pick Ups from Cuts!!
I would love to see us pick up DT Dre Moore (released by Bucs), DE Mclover (released by Panthers), CB Deltha O'Neal (released by Bengals), LB Nece (released by Bucs). Just a few players I think that could help us. What are some players do you guys think we should make a run at.

I say O'Neal Bengals and McDougle from the Eagles. Cut Tryon and Jackson and hope to sign them on the PS.

I wonder how bad is Roosvelt Colvin....I mean he played well for the Pats but he just got released by the Texans. Could he help at LB?

Re: Good Pick Ups from Cuts!!
Why not also cut Fabini and sign either Forney or Willie Anderson.

Re: Good Pick Ups from Cuts!!
God help us if that many guys who couldn't make other teams could come in and be an upgrade on ours. Do you guys really think we're that bad of a team??
Retarded thread.

Re: Good Pick Ups from Cuts!!
Schneed -- While these players may not be studs for us, they can provide great depth. McDougal has had a great preseason. O'Neal was a starting CB just a year or two ago. Why not give them a shot. Not to mention, these players typical come on the cheap so they can get a job.
For instance, whoever picks up Mason got a very good player. Im sure if we look around we can find some upgrades. Especially at LB.

Re: Good Pick Ups from Cuts!!
I don't understand how my thread is retarded since we can clearly use some upgrades on offense and defense considering how we finished up in the preseason. Dt Moore was on our radar but the Bucs beat us to him. We could always use pass rushers like McClover formerly of the Panthers. LB could definitely could help us since we was struggling to put in 3 healthy linebackers on the field against the Panthers.

Re: Good Pick Ups from Cuts!!
I like Deltha O'Neal from Cincy could help us out in the nickel...also a vet who could help teach sorry Tryon a thing or two...
I also think that there were a couple of o-line cuts that could add real depth to our squad... Willie Anderson from Cincy and there was a starting gaurd from the Falcons cut...better than some of the dead weight we got like Fabini. As far as wide reciever there were a couple of players that may help...possibly! |

I don't know about the other guy But I think we should go after Roosevelt Colvin. He can give us some good support at linebacker with Rocky coming off surgery. |
