Safety Position
This is just a thought, its not rumored or anything. But the Cardinals just signed Iffy and made him first string. That means they have who, Dexter Jackson riding the bench? Im thinking we should try to get him to pair up with Taylor, that would be a much better combo. Just an idea.

I thought Jackson was injured? I could be wrong though.
We could use some more depth at that position. |

I voted Todd Franz, but if Lott were to get it I'd be content. As long as Bowen isn't in there...that's all that matters.

voted Lott. i haven't seen Bowen make any significant plays since he's been here, i doubt any offense in the NFL respects him at all. he's had his chance, lets see what a hungrier young guy can do.

It's official, Matt bowen has no football instinkt's what so ever, he can't cover, he can't even get himself into position to make a hard hit after a catch, he had a play last night where he could have had a chance for an INT, instead he never even look's for the ball, run's over and push's the reciever, without a clue that the ball was up for grab's, the guy is a joke on the field, he may have physical attributes, but it ain't help'n him on the field, he has know buisness even as a backup, defiently should be cut.

I'm going with the Anyone but bowen platform. Have Weurffel play SS, as long as it isn't Mr. Clean.
Maybe our man CrazyCanuck knows, but how is Bowen's contract setup? What kind of dead cap space would we get if we were to cut him? |

Bowen will start by default.
I don't think Lott is physical enough, though I think he will play a larger role this year. Last edited by MTK; 08-29-2004 at 02:23 AM. |
