Re: Around the NFL week 3

Watching Gmen v Bengals in OT on Sky Sports. Hoping Gmen go 3 and out again and give ball back to Bengals in good field position.

I was listening to them following the Phins/Pats game and figured they had piled up the yardage on the Pats, but Gamecentre makes it look like the Phins simply got good field position most of the game. Anyone watched that one?

Re: Around the NFL week 3

Oh well, Bengals rookie D'backs finally blew it. Gmen inside 10 and look dead cert to score.

There goes the FG - Gmen 3-0.

I reckon if we want to make the playoffs this season, we can't afford to do worse than splitting our games in the East. We need to beat the Gmen when we face them again (and looking at Cincy, we can certainly do it now) and we have to win at least one against the Pokes and Iggles.

Marvin Lewis has issues. He'll probably be fired even before the season is over.

Lol, you want to put money on that. Brown can't even trade disgruntled players what makes you think hes going to fire the only coach thats brought him to the playoffs since forever before the seasons over?

With their injuries in the D backfield and a weak OL, I can't see him going unless they really stink from here on out. They were close to winning this game, but for both of these factors.

The Gmen are good, but I don't think they are that good. Best NFC team could well be the Packers, particularly if they beat the Pokes tonight. I think all of the NFC East teams have/will struggle against good Defenses. Difference for us and Gmen is our D is better than the Pokes and Iggles, but Gmen have mean pass rush. If they get their O together, I think they'll win the division.

Re: Around the NFL week 3

Marvin will last the season but expect him to be gone by New Years Day. Cinci will be 4-12 and I look for one of the Ryan brothers to be the HC there.
