Status of Randy Thomas
I saw him go down late in the game. Anyone know the extent of the injury?

I think he just got a bit shaken up. He's fine.

Thankfully - I'm pretty sure Thomas is the only reason we can run to the left every now and then.

Re: Status of Randy Thomas
We can't seem to run behind the right side at all right now. Not sure if that's due to Thomas or Heyer, or both.

Re: Status of Randy Thomas
We sure as hell better run behind either side better next week or we are F'd. I think if i wasn't for that early TD and fumble recovery, we would have lost easily.

Re: Status of Randy Thomas
It's frustrating. I'd like to see more sweeps/tosses. I understand we can't use them all the time, but it seems like Portis is always good for at least 7 or 8 when we do. We used it 2 or 3 times today and got great yardage.

Re: Status of Randy Thomas
We need to use more stretch plays. It seems like always rush Portis straight up the gut and it's obviously not working.

Re: Status of Randy Thomas
I think it's because of Heyer. He is technically awesome and is really good in pass coverage, but he just can't move bodies in the running game.

Re: Status of Randy Thomas
actually our runs up the gut have been quite effective. runs to the right are what haven't been working.
