What's up with Hochuli?
He's been the poster child for refs forever, now he's made a couple of huge bad calls this year. At least this one didn't cost the Panthers the game.
FOX Sports on MSN - NFL - What we learned in Week 4 - Number 1 I'm inclined to think it's just the law of averages catching up with him, but it's certainly been a rough few weeks.

Yeah, I saw that. I'm not sure what to think since he's been one of my favorite ref's for a long time now... Oh well I'm sure he wont be getting any playoff games this year

I was watching that game cause I took Car -7. That was a horrible call. He needs to get fired.

The NFL needs to employee full-time refs. Lately officiating in general has been pretty... bad. Full time refs might help a bit. Make them watch film, take tests, etc.

Maybe he needs glasses. He used to be a great ref.

NBA has full-time refs. They seem to be doing great...

Re: What's up with Hochuli?
One bad call and all of a sudden the spotlight is all on him. You know, the call wasn't a bad call. If he saw a helmet-to-helmet then he saw that. No big deal if you ask me. He is still one of the better refs out there.

One bad call does not a problem make. As long as humans are making them, you will have a possible..........human error
