Emmitt Smith:"cowboys should never let this redskins"
Team dominate the way they did them yesterday."
did you guys just hear that?and then a bit earlier steve young said basically, " we won't know if this redskins team is really any good until the next couple of weeks." WTF do you have to do to get any respect at all in the nfl?i never thought i would ever see troy aikman and keyshaun johnson take up and defend washington.if emmitt is at any redskins games this season, you guys throw fresh fruit at him or something!there is no reason at all he should ever say that. |

Re: Emmitt Smith:"cowboys should never let this redskins"
emmitt is an idiot and a terrible broadcaster that can't speak well.
but yeah, we already called that a win would just lower the cowboys for a lot of commentators, who once again would find a way not to admit the skins are any good. no need to waste time with them. |

Dude I'm right there with ya on this one. Its ridiculous but the media has never liked the Redskins so why would they start now? Although Kornheiser did say we are a 12 win football team on PTI today which I was happy about but besides that we have received noo love.

Re: Emmitt Smith:"cowboys should never let this redskins"
Emmitt Smith is still a Cowboy (ugh) so he doesn't like the Redskins. Steve Young probably was one of many who picked Dallas as the best team in the NFL, and he hates to be wrong. Our own John Riggins picked the Cowboys to win, but Sonny Jurgensen picked the Redskins. Riggins and Young didn't figure in the "Zorn Factor!"

Smith has a single digit I.Q., and can't even put a sentence together. He's a joke, typical cowpuke!

Re: Emmitt Smith:"cowboys should never let this redskins"
ESPN loves thier Cowboys. I still do not really know why he has a job as an analyst. I'm sorry, but you are no longer a Cowboy. Sorry Emmit that's the way it is. You are a journalist now. Act like one. The Cowboys got beat up from the word go yesterday. The skins brought passion, skill players, great coaching, and yes a pretty damn good training staff. Deal with it. Even Troy A. had enough guts to say that we outplayed and coached the Cowboys. He remembered what his job is now, and maybe he wants to keep it.

beat them, but it didn't matter. The Boys' showed what they can do, just like the Skins showed what they could do. It is what it is. |

Re: Emmitt Smith:"cowboys should never let this redskins"
i guess if emmitt smith, steve young and all the other jock announcers can't see past their hate of the redskins, well emmitt and irvin,i'll always hate you in anything because you are both a couple of basic idiots.i would just love to see them give the skins credit for winning and not to dallas for losing.personally i think they are both liars, one's born and the other is convicted.

Re: Emmitt Smith:"cowboys should never let this redskins"
Aikman is one of the most fair analysts on TV. He calls it how he sees it regardless of team or personal affiliation with players. I really enjoy hearing him during games. I'm not a big Joe Buck fan, but I do like Aikman.

Did Emmit mention how the cowboys were "debacled".

Well, I don't think it's outrageous to suggest that a team considered to be the best in the league should not allow their oldest rival to dominate them at home.

I will give Aikman credit. You'd never know that he was a lifelong Cowboy by the way he was calling the game.
