Re: Jameson injuried his knee
Young sat out the Dallas game, and Juan Dixon was also hurt. So now we're missing Haywood, Arenas, Jamison, and a bunch of others. Pecherov and McGuire have got to come through. The Wizards might have to design a new offense if Dee Brown plays point.

Re: Jameson injuried his knee
I think AJ will be ok, but it looks like Haywood might be out for almost 6 months

Re: Jameson injuried his knee
I'm more worried about the Haywood injury. Sounds like he'll probably opt for surgery and miss 4-6 months. This after having his best year.
Jamison says that he doesn't think it's serious, although we'll know the MRI results later today. All the active DC teams have been pretty injury prone lately, Skins, DC United, and the Wiz.

Re: Jameson injuried his knee
If Jamison is gone, they're finished.
I believe he is their best, most consistent player. Mr. Double-Double is a big man who can drain 3s.

Re: Jameson injuried his knee
Jamison should be ready for the season opener. They just confirmed that Haywood is having surgery done to his wrist which will have him out 4-6 months. Ouch! If it was 2 or 3 years ago, I wouldn't have blinked when I heard that. But Haywood really stepped last season and is probably our best "big man" defender. Time for Blatche and Thomas to step it up.

I love how this thread tracks back to Jenna Jameson news.

Re: Jameson injuried his knee
What bothers me most is that the Wizards' "A" team was consistently being beaten by their "B" team before the preseason games started. I know it's just practice games, but I'd like to see a glimmer of hope once the season starts. Now we have the Haywood and Jamison injuries, along with Arenas already being out.
