Re: My fellow prisoners

I think mistakes like this from both sides are just slip ups and shouldn't really be concerning. It's just good Comedy Central material.

The extra 7 states are necessary to contain his ego.

Keep in mind that's 57 states NOT including Alaska and Hawaii, so we apparently have 59 states total.

This would actually explain his tax and energy strategy perfectly: he's got an extra 9 states up his sleeve that will provide an added stream of tax revenue as well as hiding a secret stash of oil and natural gas!

It's brilliant really. Why didn't anyone think of this before? We need more tax revenue and energy sources - just grab an extra 9 states and problem solved.

Step 1.) Recognize tax revenue and energy problem.
Step 2.) Add 9 states to the union.
Step 3.) Fist bump and profit.

It's Comedy Central fodder and also apparently the primary criteria upon which Warpathers judge a candidate.

Re: My fellow prisoners

Did you see the guy introduce Joe Biden as JOHN MCCAIN? That was just crazy. Must be on youtube--sorry no time to link.

Considering how liberal I am is it really that surprising? If you want the right wing slant there are plenty of people here for that too. I don't see them slamming McCain.

Maybe McCain wasn't slipping, maybe we have become prisoners to the media spin meisters that can turn simple statements into lifelong beliefs

Re: My fellow prisoners

I have to say, the best this year was when Biden said Roosevelt went on TV after the stock market crash of 29 and explained it to people - when he wasn't yet president and TV hadn't been invented yet.
