if we didn't have to include the second round pick in the deal for portis, do you think snyder and gibbs might have made a play for TO?

I doubt it and hope not. I don't think we would need that many wide recievers we don't have Spurrier anymore

TO is an awesome receiver but has the maturity of a 3 year old. He would bitch morning noon and night about his lack of catches if he lined up alongside Laveraneous.
I'll take our #80 over any other receiver in the league right now with the exception of Marvin Harrison. Anquan B looks set for a huge career too but TO?....... Baltimore are welcome to him!!! |

since my thread got taken down I wanted to see what you guys thought about the article on espn saying that the 49ers did a bait and switch on philly.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1751713 I think thats funny as crap and I might have to start rooting for the 49ers every once in a while. |

once TO and his agent file his grievance against the league and sues the nfl players association like he says he's going to, does anyone else get the feeling he'll wind up in Phili which would suck big time. I personally think he brought this upon himself for bad mouthing and whining about the 49ers as a franchise and his team members. I think this is positive proof that there is such a thing as karma and getting what you deserve.

I watched an interview with him on ESPN and he didnt seem mad about being a raven at all. All his anger was focused on the 49ers GM who he said backstabbed him and put him on an AFC team because he knows what kind of player he is.

yeah, he did seem more upset with the niners, but he was still mad about what happened... at the same time, he did say, "I'm not going to act like i'm happy in Baltimore" and "I talked to ozzie newsome and told him I wasn't happy with the situation."
regardless, I don't want him in the East |

I see him in ATL. TO is a great receiver, don't take that away from him. At least he's original with his antics. The pompoms, the sharpie, etc!
