He has 260 more yards than the next closest RB. He has 9 runs over 20 yards, the next closest guy has 6. He's averaging 5 yards a carry. Tennessee's Chris Johnson is the only other rusher with over 100 carries to average over 5+ yards/rush (5.1). Dude is a beast. My worry is he's on pace for 374 carries. That's a pounding.

Michael Jenkins just said on Sportsnite that some people in the league are calling Portis the best player in the NFL. I remember a lot of talk about how we got beat on the Champ Bailey deal. Not looking too bad now is it?

i know this is about CP,but i can't tell you how many times i have heard keyshaun johnson say that santanna moss, IS THE BEST WR IN THE NFL.
i have heard james brown on cbs say the same thing about CP.

a good friend of mine, a cowboys fan, summed it up best. he said the reason Portis is so good, is that he hits the hole hard. and even when there is no hole, he always gets positive yardage
