Sports Bars
Not knowing anyone else really well that likes football, I'm thinking about starting to watch my Sunday games at a local sports bar, maybe mulligans.
Never been to a bar for any purpose other than picking up girls or just getting hammered. Anything I should know about sports bar culture going in? I just don't want to scream at the television by myself anymore.

When I lived in Florida I always went to my favorite bar to watch the Skins, but seating was at a premium as well. If I got there right before kickoff, often times I would have to stand to get a decent view of a tv showing our team. You may want to call the bar you plan on visiting and ask what their set up is for the games. Of course this Monday you won't have a problem since it's the only game on. The only other advice I have is to eat wings, drink cold beer, and just be sure you make fun of anyone wearing a Cowboys jersey.

Re: Sports Bars
Unless you're a smoker. Then it's a minus.

Re: Sports Bars
Is being a smoker liberal, or conservative?

Re: Sports Bars
Well, it could go both ways dependent upon stress level. Richer people, CEOs, movie stars, etc live fast paced, high stress lives (many of who are conservative) I would say they are prone to be smokers.
People from poor urban, poor rural and lower income areas also live stressful lives and are also prone to smoking as a form of stress relief. My verdict: 50% chance of being liberal or conservative (And this whole thing is 100% bullshit)
