Vet min...couldn't wait huh...now thats a joke.
The guy was payed a lot of cash to play for the traiders. Next thing you know he wasn't 'feeling it in traider country'...... First off, this kids a head job. No telling what he wants now OR what might have happened for this to occur if their is any truth to this. Any link?

PFT.com We are pretty good at corner..? Is that a joke OR are you just praying that SS will make it through the season?
HALL OUT IN OAKLAND? Posted by Mike Florio on November 4, 2008, 8:24 p.m. Wow. The DeAngelo Hall experiment in Oakland could be ending, as soon as Wednesday. Wow. Per Adam Schefter of NFL Network, the Raiders would make the move in order to avoid $16 million in injury-guaranteed bonuses. Schefter reports that the move was going to be made on Tuesday, but that the team decided to wait a day. If/when Hall is cut, he will have been paid $8 million for eight games, and the Raiders will have squandered a second-round pick. On one hand, it’s another sign that the Raiders are horribly dysfunctional. On the other hand, at least the Raiders are willing to acknowledge their blunder and not compound it by paying him another $16 million. Hall would go through waivers, but it’s highly unlikely that anyone would pick up his contract. If no one bites, he’d then become an unrestricted free agent. As Schefter points out, the teams most interested in Hall when he was traded by the Falcons were the Giants, Redskins, and Cowboys. Our guess is that the Cowboys will bring him in as an alternative to Mike “Tiptoe Matador” Jenkins.

I dunno much about Hall but I heard he tends to be a showboat. Deion Sanders type. Dunno how true that is or not.

Re: Raiders to waive Deangelo Hall
He's a hot head, but a huge talent and still young. Springs can't stay healthy and is nearing the end. I'm not sure how this would play out if we signed him, but I wouldn't be opposed to it. Especially with the bye week to get him situated...

Re: Raiders to waive Deangelo Hall
One of the biggest questions is does he have any experience with the front office or coaching staff? If so the probability of signing him goes up exponentially.

Re: Raiders to waive Deangelo Hall
We aren't going to sign him so no need to talk about that. But wow are the Raiders a joke! I've never heard of anything like this! Rather than focusing on resigning Nnamdi Asomugah (maybe the best cover corner in the league) they poured huge cash into dealing for the overrated Hall - and now are giving up on him after only 8 games!? I've seen bad teams before, but this is the most ridiculous organization I can remember in my lifetime.

This guy is a cancer, that would have never received that kinda cash from any other team except the desperate traiders. I don't care how young this guy is, hes bad news. The SKINS will not make a run at this clown at this point, to much cash and to many character issues. He will if I had to guess depending on terms of being cut, think hes worth way more than what he is and his stock is dropping rapidly. Prime candidate for Dallas!

Re: Raiders to waive Deangelo Hall
I know... i was thrilled when we signed TJ duckett... and the cowboys are pretty damn sick in that game right now. its a pain in the ass to defend against them no matter what you do...

Re: Raiders to waive Deangelo Hall
Is it even possible to take on his salary cap wise?
Would the remaining cap space have to be prorated over the remaining games? Or do you think we could we use all of it if need be for just what his remaining salary would be? |
