What should we draft?
Since the Mock Draft Database is reving up and you folks here at theWarpath.net can call it your Database as well, and their appears to be some excitement here for draft discussion, let's get to it.
Let's start with a poll to see which position we all think, despite your preference for best available, we should target with the first pick.

Re: What should we draft?
I voted offensive tackle. Jon Jansen is done. I think most of us have faced that. I like Stephon Heyer but am not convinced he can do the starting role right now. I would liek to see us address Pete Kendall's spot via FA

Re: What should we draft?
Gotta go with Jansen's replacement. Now is the time to look at a youth revolution on the O-line

Re: What should we draft?
I'm torn between OT, (because Jansen's career is damn near over), Center (Rabach is painful to watch in action) and DE (because JT isn't what he used to be and I can't see us getting more than another year out of him).
Maybe two of these can be addressed through free agency

Re: What should we draft?
OT: Jansen is done, don't know what we have in Heyer.
OLB: We need to start grooming Washington's replacment. OG: Kendall is a FA, need youth at position. DE: JT is an unknown for us, Carter and Evans are solid, need a playmaker. DT: Monty is a FA, Griffin is getting old, Golston and Alexander are solid. C: Need to find Rabach's replacment. CB: Depending on what happens with Springs and Hall in the offseason. S: Landry and Horton are starters, Moore is depth, Doughty is a FA, Re-sign Green? WR: To much invested already. RB: Good. TE: Good. QB: Good. |

Re: What should we draft?
LB, Marcus is hurt as much as Springs lately. H.B. isn't big enuogh to play his spot and if he does than who else do we have to back up incase of injury. I agree we need o-line,but third round is fine for that. D-line, I'm still hoping the new ends come around and get healthy.

I've been campaigning since last draft. We need Michael Oher! See ya, Jansen. Thanks for the memories.

Re: What should we draft?
way too early i think.. some players could tank while others could rise to the top still this season.. plus (i know noone wants to hear this) but if someone has a career ending injury at a position like qb, wr, rb ??
