Do You Hear That?

...the fat lady is singing!

It was good while it lasted but when the fat lady sings the game is over. Stop the bitching and enjoy the music.

Re: Do You Hear That?

I love me some GZA. And yeah, we're done. We practically never have explosive plays on either side of the ball. This creates zero emotion and zero momentum. We don't execute, the discipline is basically gone, and you get the feeling the locker room is hanging by thread, if not already lost. It's a shame.

Re: Do You Hear That?

I thought that sound was the door to the playoffs slamming on our fingers. Could have been a lot of noises really, except for opportunity knocking, cuz we ignored that shit for the past couple of weeks.

Hahahaha.

Opportunity was knocking in our divisional matchups. The last two weeks, we've been at the mercy of the turnover gods, and NFL officiating. So while I could get mad and huff and puff about how we let the opportunity slip away, that's old news. We should have taken care of our business at home.

We, in many ways, took it in the butt today. It was a culmination of all the problems that we avoided throughout the season, and they all hit us at once.

We play with fear, devoid of bravado.
Sadly, we play not to lose, and not to win.

Re: Do You Hear That?

considering what we reasonably expected after the 1st giants game, we had some good times this season. still get a chance to hit some eagles next week. yeah the same problems have plagued us for awhile now and thats a bad sign but it did bring some much needed light to certain areas of our team which will hopefully allow us to start addressing those problems.

i'll be loud and proud come sunday. for any of you who have never gone to a game b/c its too expensive, this week is a great opportunity (lots of free tickets around now). so lets try to get to 8-9 wins and end on a good note.

go skins!!

I think this is the attitude we should all have. We spent the last month asking what's wrong with the Redskins. Now against allegations that the team is quitting on it's coach, this is the type of mindset, that I believe is the correct one. Good post.

I say throw Rinehart and Clark in the lineup. What do we have to lose? At this point I don't see us beating either one of those teams.
