OK... Let the Haynesworth Petition Begin!
DT Albert Haynesworth will be a UFA after the season.... Who's for it? Who says he's not worth the huge contract?
There WILL be a bidding war this offseason for sure...

Naw, too many good DEs and DTs out this year from the draft. You can get them a lot cheaper in the upper to mid level rounds.

Re: OK... Let the Haynesworth Petition Begin!
This has all the earmarks of a Danny/Vinny fiasco, so, no, don't do it!
Only if we get a full uncapped thing happening. Then maybe.

No thanks!! He'll come here and turns into a bust and our salary cap gets screwed. I rather build through the draft.

Seems like that's what happens to almost all the FA's we bring here. It's like the Skins turns good players into crap.

Do not sign him. This has overpaid free agent bust written all over it. Haven't you guys learned anything? We need to build through the draft.

Re: OK... Let the Haynesworth Petition Begin!
After the Andre Gurode incident I can't believe it but I'm in full support of bringing him here. I'm personally one of many that believes that our lack of a pass rush is due in part to our inability to get a push up the middle. Haynesworth doesn't just get a push but he's also capable of getting his own sacks. Also if it's financially feasable I would love to see him paired with Julius Peppers on the Left side. At that point with our secondary and our D-Line we would be unstoppable. Only thing left would be to sign a guy like Jordan Gross or bring in a Tackle with our first round pick preferably Michael Oher. Of course where we're going to get all the money to do this well only God knows where, but hey $24 million can go pretty far these days. Thats assuming of course that we're already under the cap when we let a bunch of people go.
