Re: NFL's new defense against rowdy fans????
I think it's a great idea. I have no problem with drinking or people getting loud and crazy but I'm tired of the fights and all the stuff getting thrown at 90% of the games. Heckling and harrassing fans and the other team is part of the fun. But nobody should wonder if they are going to make it out alive.

Wonder how that's going to deter Raiders fans. Wasn't that just a year or 2 ago they were playing Denver and a Denver fan at the game got stabbed?
They should try this idea out at other sports venues as well.

Re: NFL's new defense against rowdy fans????
I thought for a second when I first read your opening post that the NFL's solution was to to not allow text messaging. Lol, that would have worked out great then again it wouldn't surprise considering the order would probably come from Goodell.

This is a good "idea", but it won't get rid of all the problems. If I get hit in the back of the head with a full beer, how the hell is a text message going to fix it? Sure, it will get rid of one asshole, but for every one that's removed, two more will take his/her place.
