Re: Blache Hopes Taylor Returns Next Year
He should restructure, although he should be just fine when healthy. You don't go from league MVP caliber to bust in one year. He was hurt. Give him a healthy season.

As long as he restructures I wouldn't mind bringing him back.

I was thinking the same thing. He would still get his money but at a better deal for us. A more reasonable deal. I think he can still play ball at a high level.

Restructure and let him work for the 8 mil. I realize the guy was hurt for most of the season, but he has still produced very little. Restructure and get us a whole lotta sacks next season

Re: Blache Hopes Taylor Returns Next Year
No way in hell does the Jason Taylor want to say goodbye to football on such a low note. Talking w/ another fan watching the game today we thought his HOF likelihood might drop if he left things this way. Bottom line: Taylor comes back w/ 100% intensity next season and if he will take a cut I like him as a Redskin.

Re: Blache Hopes Taylor Returns Next Year
How's Blache know he's returning as the D coordinator next year?

I'm sure the FO wants to retain Blache. Jeez, w/ a revived Jason Taylor, a nice addition @ DT and not to mention A CONSISTENTLY GOOD OFFENSE were a strong playoff team in '09. Blache deserves his props.

Re: Blache Hopes Taylor Returns Next Year
We need to refresh the LB and DE spots.

I think Colt Brennan should play DE.

Re: Blache Hopes Taylor Returns Next Year
LOL^^
definitely, he would solve all the problems. As for JT(not Timberlake) we should keep him, restructure if possible, if not he is still a pretty good player when healthy. he looked good dropping back in coverage and that strip was huge. I remember the beginning of the year he had a couple of tipped passes too.

Re: Blache Hopes Taylor Returns Next Year
He'll be back, unless he decides to retire. Otherwise, he has done nothing to lose his job. Besides, it will be nice to see the defense for a second year in his system, with a healthy Jason Taylor, a established D-Hall, a grown up Horton, and with hopefully some of the issues on the D addressed through the draft and/or free agency (LBs, D-Line Depth, DB Depth).

Re: Blache Hopes Taylor Returns Next Year
Watching the game, the biggest thing he did was mirroring Westbrook out of the backfield. What DE can do that? Obviously not Lorenzo Alexander. I was expecting more zone blitzing this year with him and Carter but Blache is real inventive and I'd like to see what he can come up with utilizing a healthy JT all year.

Re: Blache Hopes Taylor Returns Next Year
Isnt he signed through next year too? so he wont be going anywheres unless he retires and i dont think he will. we should atleast extend him a year or to but not at an outrageous price
