Re: Shanahan out in Denver
No Way!!! He's been there forever! I know he hasn't been winning to many games lately, but the talent that he has is a good reason why. I mean, his linebacker corps just SUCKS! Its worse then Detroit's! He hasn't had a Running back since Clinton Portis left and he's only just gotten a quarterback in Jay Cutler!
If this is true, Denver is dumb................................and I did not see it coming!

Re: Shanahan out in Denver
He's the longest serving NFL head coach and I wouldn't be surprised if the decision to part ways was mutual.

Re: Shanahan out in Denver
Wonder what it would take to get Rick Dennison from the Bronco's. Wonder when his contract is up. He's the O-line coach/OC

Re: Shanahan out in Denver
About time too, he's been using his DCs as scapegoats for years.
Saying it is down to talent doesn't wash either, he is the guy calling the personnel moves.

Re: Shanahan out in Denver
After Elway left, did he win a playoff game? I agree with Davy, this is a coach who had been pretty much teflon for the last 3 or 4 years.
