Certainly well-deserved. He single-handedly wills his team to win.

I would have given the award to Michael Turner.

Jip, Pennington should have gotten it.

I thought that Romo would have gotten it. He single handedly kept his team out while propelling another team into the playoffs with his play.

I'm really suprised Romo didn't get it.

You dont get the MVP to a team that doesnt make the playoffs. It wouldnt make any sense. Payton clearly deserves the honor, and I can see tha argument for Michael Turner as well... Pennington, on the other hand, not so much.

why not? this award is supposed to go to the " best" player in the league. what does wins and losses have to do with it?

I think that if the players team makes the playoffs or wins the championship it seems more deserving. Look at Alexander Ovechkin he was last year's NHL MVP and they made the playoffs, I bet that if the Caps wouldn't have made the playoffs that someone else would have been MVP instead of Ovechkin.

LOL Yep that what that bastard is going to do every year. Dallas needs to trade him to the Jets ASAP.

Manning deserved this MVP without a doubt. Is Saparno the coach of the year?
