Redskins to have private workout with Sanchez.

Looks like the Skins may not be that high on Campbell after all. This also makes me think that we are in the mix for Cutler.

This is just great, peachy! For the kind of money that Danny spent on Haynesworth we could've gotten a whole new offensive line, now this?

Just the team doing it's due diligence. Don't read too far into it.

They did the same thing with JaMarcus Russell and they'll probably do it again next year to some other stud QB in the draft.

Exactly. As I said in another thread, last year the Giants brought Flacco and Ryan in for private workouts when they clearly had no intention of drafting either one.

Also, because the owners' meetings are taking place in Southern California, a lot of teams are scheduling private workouts with all USC players over the next few days. I mean as long as the teams are there...

And now back to our regularly scheduled freak out.

I'm guessing we'll have at least 3 pages on this by this time tomorrow.

I think it's just to see if sanchez is the real deal, and yes I think we are very interested in Cutler! How could we not be he would be the perfect fit in our system.

I can't even read this crap anymore.

Redskins Nation is nuts sometimes. I'm just thankful I don't bother with the morons on ExtremeSkins. Let's try to stay above their nonsense, mmmkay?

We show interest, and if he is there at 13, the phone might ring. No brainer.

Re: Redskins to have private workout with Sanchez.

JaMarcus Russell came in for a pre-draft workout and last year they brought in Chad Henne for a pre-draft visit. They basically do this all the time. I bet they brought him in to ask about Rey

Exactly. IF he's their we;ve seen and MAYBE we want him. That's called leverage in the NFL. If someone wants to trade for him, thinking we're interested gives us mor leverage. Plus what if secretly all the scouts think this guy is the next Montana or Brady? And we didn't even work him out? As Matty said...due diligence. Our QB next year is JC. No doubt.
