Michael Westbrook on Bully Beatdown
I happened to be watching some bad late night TV tonight (specifically MTV reality shows) when I noticed everyone's favorite Redskin-turned-bust-turned-MMA-fighter Michael Westbrook on screen! As it turns out, Westbrook has taken to beating up random, ordinary dudes on MTV...though it was pretty funny to see this jackass get the crap beaten out of him. Westbrook is absolutely ripped and was landing some pretty vicious punches...
The show is called "Bully Beatdown"...the website is below and you can see some pictures and video from that episode (the bully's name was Vince) and eventually the full episode will be online. Hope you've enjoyed this installment of "where are they now?" Bully Beatdown | Full Episode Videos, Show Synopsis and Recaps, Cast Bios, Photos, Trailers, and Message Boards | MTV |

Re: Michael Westbrook on Bully Beatdown
Westbrook was a moron when he played for us. I doubt anything's changed.

Re: Michael Westbrook on Bully Beatdown
He was a good WR for a while though, but most known for fighting with Davis or better put getting his ASS kicked by him lol

Re: Michael Westbrook on Bully Beatdown
Can't find video, but if I remember right, Westbrook jumped on him and landed the only punches. Stephen Davis made a comment about Westbrooks high draft position and already near bust status. Davis took the beating.

Re: Michael Westbrook on Bully Beatdown
It was definitly the gay comment. Also as I remember it he was not all that great. When healthy and on the field he was no different then 50/50. He dropped alot of balls also. but he never stayed healthy so we canned him. I thought after that he went to GB as a KR only. His best days were there if I'm remembering correctly.

Westbrook had one good year for us in '99, the year after he got hurt and he never got back on track after that. He went on to play for the Bengals for one year and didn't do much of anything. |

Re: Michael Westbrook on Bully Beatdown
Probably. In any event our luck with drafting WR's has not been good.

Re: Michael Westbrook on Bully Beatdown
I know I'll get slammed for saying this but if we could pick up more picks I wouldn't mind picking up another WR. Only to get our WR younger. I know I'm all for the O-line, D-line getting younger also, but with the questions as to "IF" last yrs WR's will pan out being a question and or Kelly's bad knees being a problem for us I would not have hard feelings if they were to pick up another WR.
I know several teams are needing top quality WR's so none will probably be available to us with out a learning curve. I was parusing through a few of the new draft magazines and noticed who the magazines mentioned the draft prospect resembled in the pros and thought it would be nice to pick up an extra WR if available but that would mean picking one pretty high to get decent talent, ie; the T.O type, or CJ type, or Housh type. I thought they said Hayward-bay was a Fitzgerald type. Baits or what ever the top name starting with a "B" was a T.O. type. edit: Kenny Britt is his name. |

Re: Michael Westbrook on Bully Beatdown
That Colorado team that Westbrook played on had the best trio of offensive weapons to never do to squat in the NFL. Kordell Stewart, Rashan Salaam, Michael Westbrook. From NCAA beasts to NFL busts. At least Stewart had a career, although I think Bill Cowher wasted a lot of time trying to force starting QB numbers out of him.
