NFL Draft Help!
Hey Guys,
On April 25th, I'm the best man at my friends wedding. Here's the issue, he needs his man card revoked for getting married on NFL draft day. Anyhow, I need a way to follow the action, since the draft starts late I doubt it will be a big deal to check my phone once in a while to check what's going on. I have an iPhone -- what will be the best way to follow the NFL draft. I didn't see any apps that really do what I want. Basically I want updates when a trade happens or a player is picked. Any ideas?

Re: NFL Draft Help!
Have a friend text you. It doesn't have to be every pick. He could send you 5 or 10 at at time.

Re: NFL Draft Help!
Seems like espn, foxsports, and sportsline all will have constant web updates, and probably some sort of texting. I am signed up with Washington Post for Redskins texts, so I assume I will get texts on each Skins pick.

Re: NFL Draft Help!
I'd gladly help...but unfortunately, I won't be able to follow the draft myself. Hot date! (bad timing).

Doesn't stop him from looking. The reason I dont want to slam refresh on my browser is I want to be able to glance at the screen quickly when I feel it buzz. Im thinking maybe I can find some sort of twitter feed/app to follow it -- still searching.

Re: NFL Draft Help!
Hot date with my wife. I bought her a Valentine's Day gift for that day (day long cooking class). Didn't think to look at the actual date when I booked it

There is an application in the App Store called "Mock Draft - Football" made by cgCraft LLC. It is mainly a mock draft fun type app, but they are adverstising that they will have "LIVE DRAFT COVERAGE throughout the NFL Draft weekend including ALL picks and trades". The app is on sale this week for $3.99. Just do a search for "NFL DRAFT" in the app store and you will see all they have. Or if you don't want to pay, there are a few free apps they have for pro football, but none advertise LIVE DRAFT COVERAGE. I personally use the PLUSMO app called Pro Football and it is pretty good. I know when I am tracking scores during games, it is updated real-time. But I do not know about how thier draft coverage will be. Hope this helps. |

Re: NFL Draft Help!
Thanks Sandtrap -- Ill definitely look into that app! Everything that said 'mock' in it I kinda shrugged off.
