RIP Eagles DC Jim Johnson

Just heard he passed away. This is a terrible loss for the NFL and of course his family.

He kinda reminded my of Mickey, Rocky Balboa's trainer. I guess the Eagles defense will have a cause/motivation to rally around this season.

Wow , I did not know it was this bad . Very sad , R.I.P. to a very passionate and hard working man. JJ always seemed like the kind of guy you would love to play for . I bet S. Taylor is his starting Safety for eternity R.I.P.

He had skin cancer about eight years ago, it went into remission I think, but then came back full force this past winter having spread to his spine and brain.

Even though I hate the iggles, JJ always commanded respect. He was one of the people who helped make the NFC East the toughest division in football. When you beat his D, you knew you beat one of the best. RIP.

Wow I'm shocked. We as skins fans knew whenever we played Phily that JJ's agressive defense was always there. My prayers go out to his family.
