Re: Heyer Injured
Doesn't sound too bad right now. No news about getting carted off or anything. All it says is he "may have hurt his knee."
I'm not going to worry until there's a reason to worry.

Re: Heyer Injured
Let's not rush to judgment yet. MRI could show nothing

Re: Heyer Injured
O-line can't afford this. Have to hope it's nothing major.

Re: Heyer Injured
If it is serious, I wonder if they'll start giving Bridges reps exclusively at T and put Lorenzo Alexander back on offense

Re: Heyer Injured
Definitely possible given how deep the D-line is now. This got me thinking - with so many of our O-lineman north of 30/coming off surgery, if (when) injuries do occur, what kind of FAs are out there currently? I don't have a list, but I'd love to see one. Anyone?

Walking gingerly, but looks like it's not serious:

Re: Heyer Injured
I'm not one to rush to a judgement but at the same time I'm getting a little concerned w/ our oline right now. There are going to be injuries throughout the year. The problem is our starting unit is not looking too good per reports. Now, we should have a real good D line, but guess what? NY, Phili, and Dal do too. Our starters are getting it handed to them. What happens when we have some backups in there? A little concerned...

Re: Heyer Injured
Wait for the MRI just to be sure.
The Eagles lost Bradley for the season Sunday for a torn ACL and he left the field on his own two feet too. |

Re: Heyer Injured
They're just calling it a bruise, and haven't said definitively if he'll even need an MRI.

Re: Heyer Injured
"That means more reps for Chad Rinehart, the second-year offensive lineman out of Northern Iowa."
At first, I thought "Why not big Mike Williams?" Then I read further down: "Banged-up O-Line? Stephon Heyer has a bruise on his knee, Jim Zorn said after practice. "I don’t know what the extent of it is," Zorn said. "We’re looking at it." Also, Mike Williams has injured his groin, Zorn said. They join Randy Thomas and Casey Rabach in nursing injuries."

Re: Heyer Injured
Maybe its time to bring in Levi Jones or Mark Tausher to make sure were not short handed going into the season?

Re: Heyer Injured
We should, if we can, at least bring some camp bodies in
