But...but, Mike Florio hates the Redskins.

Wow, I've seen us ranked as low as 25 in power rankings. Wide spectrum there.

Who kidnapped Florio and put an imposter in his place?

not sure about 5, but If our Defense plays the way they are capable of I can easily see us winning 10 games this year, and I think that will get us in the playoffs. It all depends on our lackluster offense.

Re: Looks like we are a sleeper in the NFC....
I think that if you look at the Redskins without bias, they are definitely a sleeper candidate. Every other team in the division took a step back.
The Giants are definitely going to miss Burress, Toomer and Ward. Burress is uncoverable, Toomer was Eli's security blanket and Ward was the definition of "change of pace back". Ward always dominated Washington. The Eagles are a mess on defense and they were really hoping that their line would be able to use this time to gel. Well their line has more key guys banged up then ours and they have several new starters from last year. Mark this down, the Cowboys offense absolutely will not be as explosive without Owens. They seem to think that they will be better from addition through subtraction. Well when that guy is arguably a top 5 talent at his postion, that is foolish. Roy Williams likes to drop the ball, Crayton likes to drop the ball and I don't know that Austin is ready to be a #2. Washington made a very good to excellent defense into potentially an elite one. Our secondary is as good as any in the league (I still shake my head at what they would be doing if 21 was back there) and the line is basically disgusting. There are some question marks at LB but they have one of the best MLBs and enough talent for the others to do the job. We are basically following the Ravens blueprint except I think we have much more talent then those Ravens offenses. The key is if Bugel can somehow piece an average to above average unit with this group. If (and this is an enormous if) he does it, the sky is the limit. Re: Looks like we are a sleeper in the NFC....
Buges quote sounds like he would be at least letting Zorn know he needs a good backup for Samuels. We will see if that does any good. It's clear he's not pushing for more RT or guard help. And my understanding is that he is high on Rabach

We can go as far as we want to, just as long as our OLine stays intact, and our Defense stays healthy/ no major injuries.

I think the Steelers offense is better than ours and the Championship Ravens version which was basically a young Jamal Lewis and Shannon Sharpe. |

Re: Looks like we are a sleeper in the NFC....
Not to mention that Bobby Hoying played 3 quarters of the AFC Championship game because Tony Siragusa sat on Rich Gannon...
