T.O. going for a TKO
I can not believe this guy. Who does he think he is..? For one, he's not even a popular player. Talent wise, yes. Attitude wise, NO!
In case you don't know what's going on, read the article: WR says he won't report to Ravens Does TO really think that he can compromise what's best for the Ravens & 9ers, by basically protesting this legal trade...? I think not..! Nothing changes with this guy. He's been giving the NFL a blackeye for years now. If he never caught another ball I would not be effected in the least. That goes for any player that feel they are above the rules.

The way to illustrate all that is good and bad in football. Look at the attititudes of two famous #81's...
In the blue corner - Terrell Owens In the burgunday corner - Art Monk. says it all. |

T.O. is definitely an embarassment for the league, but I'm a little torn:
1) Should I hope that he gets his way and the Eagles are allowed to pick him up, thus causing a major distraction for the passing game of on of the Skins' divisional rivals; or, 2) Do I hope that the NFL upholds the trade to Baltimore so that we won't have to face him twice a year? |

Although it would be fun to watch TO get under fragile Donovan's skin. |

I just don't know who he thinks he is...?
I give him credit for testing the system & pushing the Commish & all his associates, but this is inapropriate behavioral. I'd push to have him fined for this rediculous act.

For all his crap, TO is an excellent reciever, and just what the iggles need. I really hope they don't get him, because they were a passrusher and a WR away last year, and they already got Kearse.
Hopefully, the loss of Emonns and either of their CBs will hurt, but they look pretty strong. Of course, with Portis running all over them, and Gibbs controlling the clock and keeping Mcnab off the field, I think we can take them. But they are tougher with TO, no doubt.

I say shut up and play. Why is he complaining about going to B-more? They have a nice young team that's on the rise, he could be the offensive weapon to put them over the top.

Its all about the $$$$$ with him. That is why I wouldn't want him in a redskins uniform. I'll take Coles anyday of the week over TO

TO is a cancer, and since the redskins just got rid of a couple of huge cancers i can't see why the iggles would want him on their team.i do'nt think that there is anybody in
the league who could scare a more sense of team companionship into TO than ray lewis can.just as long as he's not a redskin i'm happy.

The reason he's pissed is he's losing A TON of cash on this deal. The deadline was moved up, and I can understand why he's pissed. His agent might have to find another client soon.

T.O is stuck in Bal. Ha Ha Ha! Why don't you blame your agent T.O? The Union told the guy 10 days before hand that there was a deadline and he still missed it!

Now, what exactly had to be done in those 10 days? Is it just filing simple paperwork with the 9ers, or did he have to have a deal worked out?

Terrell Owens doesn't deserve this kind of criticism in my opinion. Scott Ostler of the San Francisco Chronicle points to the 49ers classless way of dealing with Owens, penalizing him in essence 10 million dollars (lost signing bonus) and taking away his right to choose his next team simply due to a clerical error by his agent.
