Re: Barney Frank at his best
these guys are both A one douche bags. and the one thing that makes me laugh is the association Republicans make between Acorn and Obama. they were getting money long before he took office

Re: Barney Frank at his best
we went over this before. you posting something from fox news, or the N.Y.T has about as much credibility with me, as me posting something from CNN, or CNBC does with you. and if you guys think Obama was the only politician sleeping with Acorn, i have some swamp land to sell to you( cheap)

I am curious to know your logic. You imply that because O'Bama is not the only one associated with Acorn, that somehow that makes him innocent, rather than guilty as are the others. That somehow in your mind, that makes it ok? Is that the case?

Re: Barney Frank at his best
my point was that Acorn was funded under the Bush administration. does that make him guilty? you guys are ripping them, as well as you should. but they have done a lot of good also.
The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) is a collection of community-based organizations in the United States that advocate for low- and moderate-income families by working on neighborhood safety, voter registration, health care, affordable housing, and other social issues. ACORN has over 400,000 members and more than 1,200 neighborhood chapters[1] in over 100 cities across the U.S.,[2] as well as in Argentina, Canada, Mexico, and Peru. ACORN was founded in 1970 by Wade Rathke and Gary Delgado.[3] Maude Hurd has been National President of ACORN since 1990. ACORN's priorities have included: better housing and wages for the poor, more community development investment from banks and governments, better public schools, and other social justice issues. ACORN pursues these goals through demonstration, negotiation, lobbying for legislation, and voter participation.[4] ACORN comprises a number of legally distinct non-profit entities including a nationwide umbrella organization established as a 501(c)(4) that performs lobbying; local chapters established as 501(c)(3) nonpartisan charities; and the ACORN Housing Corporation. These entities champion liberal and labor-oriented causes. The organization has been the subject of numerous controversies.

Re: Barney Frank at his best
I am not ripping anyone...to my knowledge.
Oh, and Bush is a fool for turning the other cheek on these...charlatans as well if that is what occurred. Though...he has nothing to do with a post about O'bama. The substance of your post is "the Party Line" from Acorn. If a little more invasive look at the organization is taken, you might find exactly as you have stated. Then again, you might a completely different story more like the one that has recently surfaced? They have been surrounded with reports of underhanded dealings, and abuse for years. Sort of a joke, really. It is flatly amazing they have been allowed to exist.....
