Re: Tony McGee Questions for Bucs...

Tony,

Something that has been bothering me for some time about Clinton Portis is how he can't seem to stay on his feet, ever. If he does the unthinkable and breaks a tackle, he's going to either stumble and slow down so someone can easily run him down or plain just fall down. Have the skins/Portis done anything to attempt to help this issue? Feel free to tell me if you disagree with my assessment.

In addition, the playcalling from this team seems to be feast or famine. We seem to have two modes. We either run on 1st, 2nd down then throw a screen or a comeback route short of the chains on 3rd down. Or we throw the ball all over the stadium, then run only patterns to the outside of the endzone. Perhaps it's the opposing team forcing us into these situations, but I'd think we could mix it up a bit. For the last 5ish years playcalling has been painfully predictable. I feel like keeping the defense on its toes alone would work wonders for a still sputtering offense.

Tony,

In addition to what Daseal just asked, where is our running game? Would you say it was the playcalling, offensive line, Portis or a combination of all three making are running attack very weak? I honestly think our running plays are not creative, not executed well and Clinton just might not be the same back he used to be. I'd love to hear what you have to say?

Tony..........we are just not a good team. It seems to me we should be better as we are not without talent......especially on the D. However, we don't play like it.
What are your top three fix's, and what are the likelihood they will happen.....soon?

Re: Tony McGee Questions for Bucs...

It was nice to see the corner blitzes, which from my recollection, has been few and far between thus far this year. I think I heard Tim Ryan say that Tryon got the call over Smoot, and it seemed to pay off. Do you think Smoot's days in Washington are coming to an end, with guys like Tryon and Kevin Barnes waiting in the wings?

I'm hoping to chalk Jason Campbell's effort to a bad day, but he seemed completely lost yesterday. Were there positives you saw from his lackluster performance?

The trio of Kelly/Thomas/Davis combined for 1 catch, -1 yard. I know Zorn and the staff are expecting big things out of these guys, but come game day, it almost seems that they are abandoned. What will it take for these guys to break out of their shells?

Tony, how can you mention that Shanahan was in DC this past week without expanding? What's the scoop?

Re: Tony McGee Questions for Bucs...

Greetings again Tony, it is reported that RB Chris Henry is at Redskin Park on a FA visit today. What does this spell for the team? Change of direction at RB? Return man? Pilates Captain?
