Gotta love Riggo: Tells Vinny to go do radio fulltime

http://dcprosportsreport.com/2009/10/riggo-vinny-just-go-ahead-and-do-radio-full-time.html

Sad thing is, Riggo's opinion carries ZERO weight with Dan Snyder. I really wonder if Snyder is having doubts or whether he remains solid behind Vinny. I mean, Zorn was Vinny's guy, Vinny said that. Vinny is the one that didn't do much to address the offensive line.

Ya know, I don't have any problem with ignorance. Nobody knows everything about anything -- everyone is ignorant in some regard to all things. What I do have a problem with is ignorant douche bags who think they're geniuses -- ignorant douche bags with too much pride and no humility, who are blind to their own shortcomings. Dan Snyder and Vinny Cerrato represent such people. The worst part about it is that nobody wants to work for people like that -- not coaches or players. It's without a doubt one of the easiest things to hate about a person: arrogance.

Riggo is a straight shooter and won't score many points with the little man.

NBC 4 moments ago was reporting "Fans are talking boycott" just to get a little of the owners attention. Check Fan Exedous.com.

Well..........It's that type thing that will find it back to the Skins FO. Who knows, if it happens enough, maybe it will do some good

Vinny would have to buy a radio station to get on radio. Nobody wants him except Snyder's station. I like VeVar Arrington's show. He's better than anybody on ESPN980.

Considering some choose to think they may be indulging in the forbidden, I would say that's a perfect characterization.

played in a golf tourny today. a guy we were playing with said a friend of his works security for the skins, about 16 years now. he said the DS is an absolute elitest jerk. that he has never treated the security guy with any amount of respect.

A lifetime of drinking hard will do that to you. Still I liked the way Riggins approached the subject. None of it was a personal attack, instead he just stuck to the issues.

Re: Gotta love Riggo: Tells Vinny to go do radio fulltime

Vinny may not be in Radio. He will probably go back to ESPN. The sad thing about this is that Vinny may be an OK general manager, but given the fact that Snyder is so involved with personnel that you will only assume that Vinny is an idiot and Snyder only gets involved in the bigger deals when it comes to free agents.

I am not suggesting for one minute that Cerrato is a genius, but Snyder is using him as his mouthpiece and therefore making Vinny look bad. I guess if Vinny had any self-respect he would quit this job a long time ago. But how hard can it be when you get paid to do what your boss wants and just take the lightning hits for the owner's bad decisions.

Re: Gotta love Riggo: Tells Vinny to go do radio fulltime

As has been stated before, VC seems to be an average talent guy....maybe, but not the worst. But the most common denominator in our current debacle is VC, and DS. MR. DS ain't leavin'. Sooo, the only thing to do is ditch VC, and stonewall DS with a tough empowered GM..............and then....I woke up
There's no place like home.......
