Can we get some love for the Defense?
I know this season is rapidly going down the toilet but eff it. Man the defense is playing good. I feel for those guys man. They only allowed the Chiefs to put up what 4 field goals? They were on the field a majority of the game and still didn't give up a TD. That's just plain old nasty punch you in the mouth football.
So here's to you Defensive players of the Washington Redskins, all of you! Good mother effing job. Don't worry about that BS about not getting turn overs and scoring points. Y'all didn't get drafted to catch or run the football. I've got much love for you cats! I'll buy you a cold beer any day of the week.

Except for our weak corners.

Haynesworth spent the entire day in KCs backfield. May have been his best game this year.

Re: Can we get some love for the Defense?
Totally agree. The Defense is good. I wish to god the D Line would line up against Danny Boy (center), Zorn (QB), Hixon (RG), Sherm (Tackle), Vinny (RB), Bingo Caller (Tackle), and Larry Michael (LG) full pad pratice at FED EX field this week sometime and just run plays for 3 hours. I much rather watch that than this f-ing horrible Offense.

Re: Can we get some love for the Defense?
Too bad it's looking like another year where the defensive efforts are wasted on a shit offense.

Re: Can we get some love for the Defense?
Defensive line was awesome today. The pass rush was spectacular. The Chiefs offensive line was actually way worse than ours.
Orakpo now has what --- 4.5 sacks? Imagine if we lined his up every play at DE where he belongs.

Great job against the woeful Chiefs. Let's see how they do next week against the pissed off Eagles.

Re: Can we get some love for the Defense?
It's an improved unit from last year. Possibly much improved, but we'll need to see it against a good quarterback before I can go that far.

Re: Can we get some love for the Defense?
You seem to be so negative when it comes to the defense, even though they clearly are at least one level above the offense and campbell. But you seem to excuse campbell's play to something other than what campbell is doing.

No one was being negative in this thread before you jumped in. I simply pointed out that they've been very good, but they'll get tested in coming weeks.

Re: Can we get some love for the Defense?
Good thread. One can nitpick things about the D but basically the D has brought it again and again every week. We can be proud of the defense.
