Tiger Woods injured in early-morning car crash - ESPN
the article from espn.com seems odd to have a one car accident at 2am and not have a substance of some kind involved, they are saying charges are pending so we will have to wait and see. sounds like he has alot of facial lacerations, i hope he is ok.

re: Tiger Asks for Mulligan; Promises to Keep Driver in Bag
apparently his wife smashed the back window with a golf club to get him out of the car, and the police cheif says they found "Woods laying in the street with his wife hovering over him."
something just sounds fishy i thought i heard last week there were rumors of him creeping on his wife

I think theres a lot more to this story, this has domestic dispute written all over it.I would bet the story more resembles them getting in a fight, him starting to drive off and she smashes the back of the suv in anger. He drives into the tree trying to get away from her crazy ass

Maybe. But this seems fishy to me. I agree with Htown that it smells like a possible domestic dispute. What is he doing behind the wheel by himself at 2:30am (this is Tiger Woods, not any run of the mill celebrity)? Does he not know his own driveway well enough to avoid a fire hydrant and a tree? And how fast do you have to be going to smash a hydrant and tree at the end of said driveway? And why did his wife use a golf club to smash out the back window of the SUV if he was in the driver's seat? Why are police reporting alcohol was not involved if they haven't even interviewed him (they were turned away when they tried to interview him at his house after he got back from the hospital)?
It will be interesting to hear what Tiger's version of the story is. Chances are we'll never know what really happened.

Even the stars have some wierd sh.. in their lives. Only the check is bigger to fix it.
I heard a baseball stars wife talking about infidelity in the sports superstar world. Effectively she stated, when you get the star, you get taken care of. You DON'T get all his.........attention. To many temptations. She additionally said, you KNOW that going in, and you have to be ok with it. ...................wierd I hope I can get a shot at that golf club on EBAY

Bottom line, the cops probably got a little nervous about the circumstance once they saw it was Tiger Woods and didn't do their due dilligence on the front end. They left the scene and now, probably, Tiger will be charged with reckless driving and get some petty fine. |
