Add my friend as a facebook friend
Hey everybody, just wanted to tell you my friend is new to facebook and the area in general.
Add Heather Wegman to your facebook friends. She is a long time skins fan and makes for great conversation. This isn't a joke, my brother and I have been getting her friends all morning... Heather Wegman | Facebook

Re: Add my friend as a facebook friend
Your brother and you seem to be her only friends. Where are all the friends you have been getting for her, all morning? LOL.

Re: Add my friend as a facebook friend
I'd have to add myself to Fakebook first and that's not happening.
Am I the only one questioning if Heather was born a "she" from that photo?

Re: Add my friend as a facebook friend
Yea, I opened one of those free acounts a year or so ago to see what all the talk was about and have been back once or twice. Its wierd to see guys you know adding you to their "friend" list. After that I closed the account. Not sure why I want to have friends of friends who was probably a friend of another friend on my friends list. You then get all the crap from their friends, friend who was sent the stuff from another friend. I do see how it would be cool to find old friends from school but then you make them a friend then you get all their friends and their friends of friends. Am I just confused or do I have it about right.

Re: Add my friend as a facebook friend
Weird post of the week alert.
Seriously though, I always wonder when you see someone with thousands of friends. What's the point, just to add as many people as you can? Guess I'm getting old, I don't get it. |

I'm not being mean, but she looks like some of those webcam spambots I get in Facebook sometimes...

Re: Add my friend as a facebook friend
Being younger and using facebook from the day I started undergrad, I dont have as pessimistic of an attitude about it.
There are privacy concerns, but with settings and simply not accepting everyone that can be mitigated. Also its obvious not all of those people are your friends. I use it more as a networking tool. It is a really easy way to stay in touch with old college buddies and maybe just connections that you have. It can always help down the road if you are interviewing, need a lift in a random town, etc. It can hurt as well. Pretty much my thoughts about facebook in a nutshell.

I do have random people on there, but that's pretty much to help me out on some of the game apps, that requires you to have a certain amount of friends (who too have the game app) to proceed in later levels in the game. We don't talk or anything. Facebook is starting to turn into myspace now, being used as a dating tool. Such as the girl who found a guy with the same name as her... ...They ended up getting married. No Joke: Kelly Hildebrandt Will Marry Kelly Hildebrandt - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News - FOXNews.com But the whole idea of posting on here to get your friend, more friends, is... Odd, to put it nicely. Your best bet is her trying to look up high school friends and college friends. Hell I even got people on there I went to Elementary school with.
