All of you are amazing/My Dad's passing.
I posted this on the original post regarding the psasing of my father. I needed to make sure ALL of you see my response to you incredible outpouring of best wishes:
I knew posting my dads death would bring a few condolences but the outpouring of kindness has been dumbfounding. He never was a computer guy (old school at 80 years old ya know) but I told him about the Warpath and he would have loved the passion you all display. He was a great man who did things under the radar. He was passionate about 3 things: his family, his Knights of Colombus and his Washington Redskins. I will look to see if I can find any pics of Wayne's Wigwam and do my best to post it. Again, all of your kind words have helped me tremendously. Sundays will be different but will also have new meaning due to what each of you have posted. Thanks again to you all!!!! |

I'm sorry for your loss. Don't worry, my sources tell me there's football in Heaven.

One of the things i like about this board, is that it is smaller, and the members generally get more involved with each other when things like this happen.
The board has been extremely supportive towards me recently during things i have went through, and i'm glad to see that the support is paying off for someone...

Definitely get some pics if you can, looking forward to that.
My father was a huge Redskins fan too, he didn't have a shrine, but he knew the team intricately. |

Re: All of you are amazing/My Dad's passing.
I read your first post and did not reply, but I will now. Im sorry for the loss of your father its never easy to lose a loved one and ever harder when its a parent. I feel for you and my prayers are with you and your family. I also look forward to seeing a picture or pictures of the shrine. I had one that I had to take down for the birth of my 1st, but I still have all the stuff so that someday I can put it all back together. Thoughts are with you...
