The Broncos just released 3-4 ILB Andra Davis. He had a solid year last year with 90 tackles and 3.5 sacks. I wouldn't mind taking a look at him.

Andra Davis.. Not a fan to be honest. In fact I can see our guy Blades having a better season than him, not to mention he's a true redskin and is much younger. Nice find though.

I like Blades as well, but Davis has tons of experience playing in the 3-4 and we really need an ILB with 3-4 experience to play alongside Fletcher.

Take Jeremy Bridges off the free agent list, he was resigned by the cardinals.

Look's like we are really wanting to sign LJ.

Re: 2010 NFL Free Agency Rumors and Reports (Week 2)
I just realized something, the saints just lost their starting OLB to FA, and they cut their starting DE. NO's Defense is run by Gregg Williams whom brought in Andre Carter and Rocky McIntosh. We are switching to a 3-4 Defense which Andre Carter has already said he doesn't fit in, and many believe Rocky would be too small for the project ILB position. Could I be sensing a trade here that would send Rocky and Andre to the saints for a few draft picks, like a 2nd and 6th rounder? Sure Rocky's been tendered for a 3rd, and we don't exactly know what we could get for andre, but I think if you put the two together we could be getting those picks, or similar picks.

Re: 2010 NFL Free Agency Rumors and Reports (Week 2)
2nd and 6th seems pretty low for two established, and solid players. Carter is older, but Rocky is still pretty young. I don't think I'd be happy with that, especially considering how high the Saints picks are this year. I understand the emphasis on drafting, it's important to find and cultivate your own talent, but you shouldn't sacrifice known commodities for a crap shoot unless the value is there, in my opinion.

Re: 2010 NFL Free Agency Rumors and Reports (Week 2)
Ya but are you really prepared to have 34/31 year old veterans be the highlight of our defense? Correct me if I'm wrong about their ages, but it just seems to completely go against this whole rebuilding phase. If it was my team I'd be drafting an ILB in the fourth to sit behind Fletcher while him and Blades start.
