Mark Brunell game

My brother and I are playing a game.

The rules:
1. Anytime Mark Brunell throws the ball away on 3rd down, you take a shot.
2. Anytime Mark Brunell checks down and the Skins don't convert on 3rd down...you take a shot.

Disclaimer:
Many of you would wonder why we wouldn't do it everytime he checks down or throws the ball away. The answer is very simple: we don't want to die of alcohol poisoning.

Yeah, I hear that it's very slimming, or the cirrhosis that follows is. It's the new Hollywood diet.

Are you kidding me, he is heroic!!

Seriously, we won in spite of Brunell today. While he didnt do anything to directly help the Lions, he just hinders our whole game plan, we can do anything with him.

I kind of thought if Brunell loss this game we would see Ramsey and I'm glad we won. However, if we win against the Bengals next week, we are facing the Eagles, Steelers and Giants. Now if Ramsey will play it will probably be after these four games because that would be throwing him into a lion's den. Let's hope Portis can keep this up because Brunell playing not to lose right now.

Good point about the schedule probably keeping Ramsey on the bench.

Brunell is an Afterthough in This Offense . . .

nothing more and nothing less. The one offensive TD was due to Portis and the other TD was from the "D". Brunell was relegated to handing off the ball and getting the h*** out of the way.

We won this game for 3 reasons, none of which had anything to do with Brunell:

1. Our outstanding "D".

2. We played a team with an offense as inept as ours.

3. We had a lead and didn't have to rely on the non-existent passing game to get us back into it.

But, I no longer blame Brunell for what's happening. No, the blame rests squarely on Gibbs' shoulders. He is just too stubborn to admit that his pursuit and signing of Brunell was a colossal and costly mistake.

I am tired of hearing Gibbs make apologies for the abysmal play of Brunell.

Let's jump ahead a bit. I think Brunell will continue to play unless he's injured. Let's assume he finishes the season and we end up, say, 6-10 which is highly likely. Let's say Ramsey, in total frustration, demands to be traded. Where does that leave us offensively? In nowheresville, that's where.

Thanks, Joe, for an offense that can't seem to score more than 10-15 points a game. Thanks for sticking by a QB that can't get the job done. Thanks for being too stubborn to admit that you (yes it is mostly Gibbs' fault) committed the team to a QB that is no longer effective, to the tune of $43 million.

I don't believe you there is no way you could have written this post if that were true!
