Comic Books??
Anyone here know anything about comic books? When I was in grade school I collected them for a while. I have a big stack, some of which are in mint condition still in the sleeves. This was over 15 years ago, so some of them may have some value, but I don't know squat about them anymore. I was over at my Mom's tonight for dinner, and I was looking through some old baseball cards up in the attic and stumbled on the comics.
I know there are on-line price guides and such, and there is a comic book store not far from my work, but I was just wondering if anyone out here had any knowledge that would help with selling them (or holding on to them) if they're worth anything. Thanks in advance!

Re: Comic Books??
I could be of some assistance, I too used to collect them avidly and now even though I am not up to date on the new comics I still keep tabs on the ones that I do have. Since my collection days I have moved on to graphic novels which are nothing more than the collection of a story arc into a book. I am slowly getting my son into comics as he is still learning to read. But if you have any questions feel free to PM me anytime or just post on here and I will try my best to help... And who knows maybe you may have some that I would like to take off of your hands...
For starters I guess what comic brand did you collect mostly? i.e. Marvel or DC?

No clue bro, I only collected cards.. which aren't worth anything anymore.
Price guides and ebay completed listings would prob be of best assistance. |

Re: Comic Books??
I agree ebay is a great start, like the saying goes things are only worth what someone will pay for them....

Re: Comic Books??
They're probably worth nothing. Best you should throw them out. Better yet, I could come throw them out for you.

Re: Comic Books??
I am interested in what comics you do have... If you are looking to unload them...

Re: Comic Books??
I'll PM you a list. I left the comics in a box in the trunk of my car, don't feel like hauling it in right now. I'll put together a list for you tomorrow. Thanks for the input!
