2010 Rookie Signing Tracker

Mac's Football Blog: 2010 NFL Rookie Signing Status - Team-by-Team

Looks like a real good site for this information. One thing interesting is that they list a rookie pool number, but isn't that void without a salary cap?

Re: 2010 Rookie Signing Tracker

I find it real interesting that we aren't disclosing financial terms. Again, in years past we would have shouted each signing to the world.

I had heard the others disclosed that day, but now I can't find the terms. But, since all three were 7th rounders, you can pretty well figure much of the same.

Trent Williams fired his agent...

Trent Williams says he still plans on signing & being in camp on time; But hiring a new agent @ this point certainly sets talks back a little about 1 hour ago via UberTwitter

# Kelli Johnson

Redskins top pick Trent Williams fired agent Eugene Parker; told me they "weren't a good fit". Has to wait 5 days to hire a new agent. about 1 hour ago via UberTwitter

Eugene Parker regularly holds out his clients. Perhaps this move, ironically, makes it more likely that Silverback will be in on time.

It bears noting that all four rooks were signed for 4-years. Austin has also signed. 4-Years is a long time!

Let's hope so, the last thing this team needs now is another distraction.

Re: 2010 Rookie Signing Tracker

I don't get the feeling that Williams wants to hold out...just watching his actions and the way he talks, he seems like he wants to learn and become a pro-bowl caliber LT and really wants to get the contract talks out of the way so he can focus on football.

Good Move!!
